PEERS® FOR YOUNG ADULTS CERTIFIED SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
Sept. 10-12: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
JOIN US for a 3-day training with Dr. Liz Laugeson, who created the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS), an evidence-based social skills training intervention for young adults with social challenges, focusing on teaching skills related to making and keeping friends and managing peer conflict and rejection. CDS and the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental & Related Disabilities (LEND) program are hosting.
Attendees will receive 24 hours of training in the implementation of the PEERS for Young Adults intervention and the research behind the program. This training will enable providers to implement PEERS in their clinical, educational or other appropriate setting, as PEERS Certified Providers. (One must attend all three days of training in order to obtain certification.) CEUs are also available.
