Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA)

Medicaid provides payment for health care to low-income individuals and families and people with disabilities whose income is insufficient to meet the cost of necessary medical services. Medicaid pays for doctor visits, hospital care, labs, prescription drugs, transportation, routine shots for children, and mental health and substance abuse services.

You can find out if you qualify for Medicaid or other medical assistance and other social service programs (Healthy Children (CHIP), Long Term Care, Home & Community Based Services) by speaking with a representative at your local State Service Center.  Call the Medicaid Customer Service Relations at the number listed below to be directed to the appropriate office where someone can help you.
