Lifespan Respite Program

If you are caring for a child with a disability or special healthcare need; and/or an adult with a disability, Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, or conditions of aging then you may be eligible to apply for a respite voucher.  Applicants must be Delaware residents and not receiving respite funding from any other agency to be eligible for this funding.

All applications are processed in the order in which they are received until funding is fully obligated. Applications are reviewed by our Application Review Committee which is comprised of members from local organizations and state agencies, not Easterseals staff.  This program is partially funded by the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities through the National Family Caregiver Support Program, Title III-E of the Older Americans Act.

Contact Easterseals Lifespan Respite Program at 302-221-2087 or resources@esdel.org with questions.
