Mental Wellness and Inclusion Workshop – October 24, 2020 from 12pm – 2pm

This workshop presentation will consist of, but not limited to Mental Wellness and Inclusion. This is one of many virtual workshops the Youth Engagement Specialist (YES) will be conducting throughout the year. The Youth Engagement Specialists: are young people between the ages of (16-30) who have lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges. The experience may be their own or through association with a family member or loved one. Youth Engagement Specialists are committed to engaging young people and their families in conversations to reduce stigma around behavioral health challenges. Youth Engagement Specialists provide education and outreach to the community about mental health and substance use and promote awareness of the signs and symptoms. Youth Engagement Specialists work to help youth achieve better outcomes by improving the engagement of youth in behavioral health programs that serve them.
