The Black Side of Autism with Maria Davis-Pierre, LMHC – April 20 at 7 PM

This workshop will highlight the importance of cultural awareness when working with Black families of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Beginning with a detailed analysis and explanation of culture broadly, Maria Davis-Pierre will lead the conversation toward helping attendees understand their cultural development and biases.

Participants will leave the workshop with practical tools to serve diverse communities as well as lead conversations with their peers on the topic of cultural responsibility.
