Webinar – Extended School Year (ESY)

This webinar reviews the legal requirements related to extended school year (ESY) services for students with disabilities.  ESY services are special education and related services that are provided to a child with a disability beyond the normal school year (typically, during the summer break) when necessary to ensure that the student receives a free appropriate public education.  The webinar will address the Delaware and federal requirements and process for determining whether a child with a disability is entitled to receive ESY services, and which, if any, special education and related services the child is entitled to receive beyond the normal school year.
