Child Development

Child Development refers to changes that occur between birth and adolescence, allowing them to do more complex things as they grow older. Development is different from growth which refers to getting bigger in size. If you have concerns about your child’s development, speak up! If you are not satisfied with the answers you receive from a professional, seek out additional opinions.

There are many Delaware agencies and organizations who can help if your child has a developmental delay. It is important to make connections as soon as possible so that your child can receive help at an early age.
