Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS)

DPBHS provides voluntary services to children up to age 18 and their families for children who have mental health or substance abuse problems. They respond to all child mental health emergencies.

DPBHS has a variety of services for your child including: crisis services; outpatient services; support services; day treatment services; residential treatment services; and hospital treatment services. These services are managed by licensed mental health professionals.  Outpatient facilities are located in each county.

Use the main number to make contact with your local office outpatient service provider.  use the crisis line for emergency help with a child’s emotional problem.
